PRESS RELEASE: Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital Wins Dayton Business Journal “2019 Best Places to Work” Award

The Dayton Business Journal has named Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital (OVSH) one of the “2019 Best Places to Work” in the Miami Valley. There were 42 companies chosen as honorees and only 4 of those were chosen as winners. OVSH was the winner in the Large Business category.

Each company in the competition registered to have their employees participate in a survey about their workplace. The award is based on employee responses to questions about staff engagement, team effectiveness, manager effectiveness, and other workplace practices. Staff noted that strong communication, flexible schedules and a balanced personal and professional life were a few of the things that make working at OVSH so great.

OVSH was opened in June of 2009 by local Springfield physicians on a mission to better their community with the best health care experience they could offer through elective surgical and medical procedures. Some facts about Ohio Valley include:
